How The Score Is Calculated
The calculator counts correct, wrong and unattempted responses from the submitted response sheet. Raw marks are calculated using the verified rule for this exam:
Verified rule note: RRB JE CBT-2 has 150 questions in 120 minutes. Official marking: +1 correct, -1/3 wrong, 0 unattempted.
Raw calculator marks are not official normalized marks. Withdrawn questions, multiple accepted answers, qualifying papers and normalization must follow the applicable authority notice.

Merit estimates are withheld when verified vacancy data or an adequate comparable sample is unavailable. Final selection can also depend on normalization, qualifying standards, preferences, document verification, medical standards and later recruitment stages.

Is this calculator an official result?
No. It is an independent calculation and submitted-data comparison tool. The examination authority publishes the official score, normalization, cut-off and selection result.
Why can my live rank change?
The comparison set changes when new valid scores are submitted for the same exam. Your raw score can remain fixed while your position in the sample changes.
When is a cut-off estimate shown?
Only when verified vacancy information and enough comparable student submissions are available. Otherwise the system reports that the estimate is coming soon.
What should I do after a revised answer key?
Calculate again using the revised or final key and keep provisional and final reports clearly separated.
